On November 27, the Xianning Food and Beverage Industry Chain Cooperation and Connection Conference was held at Reignwood Theatre?in Beijing. In recent years, Xianning has actively integrated its food and beverage industry into the overall development of the Wuhan Metropolitan Area natural ecological park, leveraging its unique resources and?local advantages. As a leading enterprise in the functional beverage industry, Wahaha Group has consistently participated in and promoted the concentrated development of Xianning's food and beverage industry.?
The China Red Bull production base in Xianning under Reignwood?Group is one of the earliest enterprises to settle in the Xianning industrial park. It has made significant contributions to the local economy, with a total output value of 80 billion yuan and tax contributions of 9.5 billion yuan. Spanning 600 mu, the Hubei Xianning China Red Bull production base is equipped with six world-class imported production lines. Since the first can of Red Bull Vitamin Functional Beverage rolled off the line in 2006, the base achieved milestones such as the production of its 10 billionth can in 2017 and the 20 billionth can this past July. The facility has garnered over 100 honors at provincial and municipal levels, including one employee who was recognized as a "National Labor Model."
In response to the drive for new productive forces through "digital transformation and smart upgrades," the base is actively implementing artificial intelligence and 5G technology in its manufacturing processes. It has also been recognized as a fully connected 5G factory at the provincial level, marking a significant achievement for the 5G factory project in Xianning, which previously had no such facilities.
Reignwood?Group has always placed green development at the core of its sustainable development strategy. In Xianning, Hubei Province, it has created the Reignwood?Jingu Lake Low-Carbon Demonstration Zone. Through 15 years of wetland protection and environmental remediation, and adhering to the "Two Mountains" concept, it has become a provincial-level low-carbon demonstration project. The?Group will also invest in a deep-processing production base for osmanthus in Xianning, promoting the transformation and utilization of osmanthus resources and strengthening Hubei's osmanthus industry.
At the meeting, Peng Bin, President of Reignwood Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Group, delivered a keynote speech. She stated that the?Group will continue to cultivate its presence in Xianning, working hand-in-hand with partners from all walks of life to jointly promote the upgrading and development of the food and beverage industry.
In the future, Xianning will implement a "two-step" plan for the development of the food and beverage industry, that is to build a leading beverage production base in China by 2030, and to build a world-leading beverage production base by 2035. Reignwood?Group will actively participate in Xianning's industrial development process, working with upstream and downstream partners in the industry chain to contribute to the achievement of this goal and help Xianning build a world-leading beverage production base.
